I started out doing Triathlons in 1989, stopped in September of 1991 after having knee surgery. I started racing road full time in the spring of 1992 for the Cadieux club. I became the captain of the team after only 3 years. I joined the Wolverine Sports Club in 2002 to start the Elite Race Team with Tony Bruley. The leader of the Cadieux, Antoon, and I didn't see eye to eye on were the team was headed, so we parted company on good terms. I got my USCF Official's license in the spring of 2004. I officiate around a dozen races a year.
